Happy Easter

Wow what a huge weekend. Thursday Craig's Ma & Pa arrived for the weekend (Watch a blessing). Friday was just a preparation day for Craig's birthday party tomorrow. What a bummer the shops are shut. Amy arrived about lunch time and yes without my beautiful Annabelle..... Not happy Jan. Saturday morning was a mad rush to get the rest of the food shopping done for tonight. I have 30+ people coming. Pa and I put the pork and chicken in the webber about lunch time so it will be ready in time. Everything else could wait. James arrived about 2pm with Annabelle. Craig loved his clothes I bought him. He's so funny. Anyway people started arriving about 5pm. By 6.30 the place was packed and the food was flowing. It was a huge night it more ways than one. Kids everywhere.... Tell me folks what is it about people who just dump there kids and run. I spent the whole night trying to keep some form of control in the house. Live and learn I say... Next time the invite will read ADULTS ONLY. Place got trashed.

Sunday was just a lazy day. Woke up and Craig had cleaned the place up. I'm so blessed. Pa had cleaned the webber (I hate cleaning that thing) and Ma had done the washing. They are such a great help. It was lovely having them down. Annabelle, Amy & James also stayed which was lovely.

Monday Amy and James had to go to a poker day so I had my first grand baby sitting day. Tell you I surprised myself. I even managed to bath her without making her cry. I was really proud of myself. It was the most satisfying day I've had in a long time. She is so beautiful and such a great baby.

Well I'm Hoping after next weekend I will have some scrapping to share.

Another lovely weekend.

Aunty Chrissy bought Amy and Annabelle ove to spend the weekend with Nanny. We spent the day just hanging out. Aunty loves the computer games so she spent the day playing games and relaxing. Had a great lunch of sausages & salad on rolls. It was so nice just sitting together and relaxing. We hardly ever get time to spend together. She is so busy with work and running the kids around from here to there.

Here are the new photo's of our precious little angel. She is the most beautiful precious little girl. I just love her so much. The weekends we get to spend with her are something I will cherish for ever. Amy is such a good mum and I am so proud of how dedicated she is to her.

Saturday Craig & I had the pleasure of attending Craigs friends wedding. I had never been to a Greek wedding before and let me tell you I had the best time. The church service was amazing. It was held in a Greek church at Redfern. From start to finish it was an experiance. The church it self was just beautiful then came the priests in there black head gear which sang the whole service. Sonja looked absolutely beautiful in her traditional dress. Then it was off to a whalf at Darling Harbour where the food never stopped and the greek dancing was amazing. It was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding (other than my own of course). Yes I know what your going to ask??? Where are all the photo's? Well I got these two then the battery ran out. Didn't worry me too much though as I don't think I will ever forget it.

Today I was really tired. I still managed to drag myself out of bed for indoor soccer. Then back home to do some much needed house work. Well that was until some old friends of Craig and mine dropped in for a chat. We hadn't seen then in years. Big surprise was they also had a beautiful little 6mth old daughter. What a spin out how things change and how people pop in and out of your life. Hopefully now we are back in touch we will see more of them. Well that's it for this week.

New "Must Have" Punches

Hi Girls, Whilst shopping at my Favourite scrap store (Scrapbooking HQ) I found these punches. They are three different sized corners. As you can see there's sml, med & large. They are absolutely great. I never knew you could get them. Check them out.

My new bling (eee PC)

Today I bought myself this little gem. It's a third of the size of my laptop and is so light. I was finding the laptop to heavy to carry around at work. My friend mentioned to me the eee PC and wow I fell in love with it. I can access all of my emails either by wireless or my 3 plug in. It also has a built in webcam and microphone so you can video chat through MSN no matter where you are.This little machine is going to make my daily life at work a whole lot easier. Suggest you check it out girls if you are required to lug around a PC all day.

What a lovely day.

The day started with Amy and I playing our weekly game of indoor soccer. We had another win and remain un defeated as we played the team coming second today 2-1 we were stoked. After that we had to rush home cause the girls were due about 12.30 to scrap. We just got into it when some old friends popped around for a swim so that was that for the scrapping for me. The girls didn't mind they just loved the fact that they were having sometime to them selves. So after the little ones went for there swim they decided that they would like to make some cards for Easter & mothers day. So that's what we did. I had so much fun just pottering with them. It's good practice for when Annabelle gets bigger. They are such lovely children. There Mum is a lovely Irish woman (Can't spell her name either) She's a school teacher at Sutherland.

Linley and I go way back. He actually introduced me to my lovely husband Craig. We are working together again for the 4th time. We always seem to end up at the same companies and then he moves on again and leaves me there.

All set for a coffee....

Betta Electrical in O'Connell Street had a closing down sale today. I just had to buy Daddy the grinder, banger (?) & squisher (?)thing we have been looking for these since we got the coffee machine last year. I'm not much of a coffee person but Daddy thinks himself a bit on a guru & loves it. I can't believe it but I'm actually enjoying buying things for the house. I was never like that & never cared about house stuff. I can relate now to people who have nice homes.... you do want to make them as clean and as nice as you can.

A Big Job Ahead.....

Who's going to be busy tomorrow night. I have to put together the 15 gifts for the baby shower..... Wow when I am I going to get time between that and the cooking, cleaning, shopping for food ???? All this house proud crap & socialising is doing me in. Oh well have to get used to my new leaf.

Blus Bazaar had a huge sale and of course I just couldn't resist. The order arrived today. Wow I couldn 't believe how much I got for the price.... what a bargin (Nothing over $10.00). I really love the Elsie house book and the Heide crown stamps.

This is the photo which I am going to use on the thankyou cards for this weekend. I just love this photo. She is such a little angel. You just want to kiss & snuggle her. Once I get back into scrapping I'm not going to be short of photo's to use. Unlike with Amy I'm not going leave it 18 years before I start her baby album I'm going to start this Sunday at the crop. (All good intentions???)Whether I actually get anything done will be the issue.

Sad I Know but I love this series

I know, I know. Yes I'm sad. I just love this series. I copy them onto my ipod and watch them on the train on the way to work. It makes the trip into the city go so quick. You should see the faces on the train when I either burst out laughing or break down crying. I've been a bit emotional lately. will have to snap out of that.

Amazing Throw.

Had a great day today. Tupperware well NOT. Craig and I decided to bar that Idea and go to Campbelltown H/N to check out the new mink throw rugs that came in. Craig knew I would fall in love with them and would just have to get it. Well guess what...... here it is. And I just had to have the matching throw pillows. When the lady at Harvey's found out it was for our dogs to sleep on she was absolutely horrified. Am I bad Yes....Am I satisfied OHHHHHHHHHHHH YES.

Rachaels Graduation

This is Rachaels Mum. What a lady. A solo Mum she has put her daughter through law school all on her own. How proud she must be of Rachael and of herself.

This is Rachael & Ian. Rachael just graduated form law school and is now a fully practicing Insurance lawyer. Congradulations & thanks for the great party. See you at the tupperware party tomorrow.

Clean and nearly ready to go

Finally.... Spent the day cleaning and fixing up the craftroom ready for the crop next Sunday. I haven't really been able to get in here since the renovations started in August last year. As you can imagine it was an absolute mess. Well I can finally see the desk and the floor. I still have a bit to do but at least it's a start. I culled alot of stuff that I didn't want anymore which felt great. This made more room on my shelves for my new creations.

Next Saturday Craig and I are hosting a "Welcome to the World" party for Annabelle. Alot of Amy's friends will be there. James family and freinds are also coming. It should be a big day.

Then Sunday I have a crop happening. A couple of the girls from Menai are coming over for the day to scrap and have a laugh. Sis yes I wish you could be here. Will post happenings of the day.

Away with negative. In with positive.

I apologise to all who read my last post before I deleted it. It's so easy to get drawn back into the negitive side of my life & personality. Well enough of that. I had a great valentines day yesturday. Well really it started the night before. I got home on Thurday night and found vases of flowers all over my house. The card read... I don't like to be like everyone else so we are having valentines day early. Very unexpected. For Valentines day we went over to visit Amy & Annabelle as James is still in Melbourne. Had a cuddle and coffee and Thai for tea. Here is a pic of some of the flowers I got. I am blessed and I know it. So sue me (oops there it is again). Tonight off to a Rachaels for a BBQ to celebrate her acceptance into law school.

Positive, Positive, Positive........ Happy thoughts lee....... Man I must sound nutty but it helps me stay on track.

This lovely little dress just arrived in the mail from Tammy in America. Thank you so much Tammy you are so lovely. Annabelle will look lovely in this and the tights are just delightful. I will send photos of Annabelle in it as soon as I see her. Again thank you sweets. It amazes me that someone I have never meet from across the other side of the world can be so thoughtful and caring when people I have know for years show no interest what so ever. You really restore my faith in people Tammy. Wish we lived closer......

Lovely Weekend

I had the pleasure of having both my daughter and grandaughter over this weekend. Amy came over on Friday when he other half had to take a trip to Melbourne for work. It's just so lovely to have them both over to hang out. We stayed up pretty late watching movies and just catching up. Annabelle is now a month old and just georgeous. She is such a good baby. Wakes up when she is hungry or wet and then just lies there and smiles (No Not wind). Saturday we got up about 10am got all our chores done then ventured out for our first girls day. It's is Amy's 20th birthday tomorrow so it was all about spoiling Amy. First we got her nails done then I took her and bought her a lovely new outfit and bag. She has really impressed me. She has taken to motherhood like a natural (unlike her mother). After a long day shopping back home we went. My friend Alisa came over with her daughter for the night. Champaign and trashy movies flowing all night I actually felt sorry for Craig. PS GIRLS: Give the Movie "P.S I Love you" a miss.... how depressing wow. Had a great night. Got up Sunday morning and off we were again to indoor soccer. As usual some of the girls decided not to show up so I had to convince Amy to take the field. I was so worried she was going to get hurt as it has only been a month since the C section. But she went really well. The rest of the day was made up of BBQ, Annabelle hugs and family over. All in all I had a great weekend. I just love my grand baby. It's true what they say... it's a different kind of love. Yes Lee is a happy girl. My daughter has finally found her calling.

I decided in the new year that I would surround myself with positivity and it's really working. Craig had mentioned to me on several occations that I need to be more social & open to friendships. And he was right. We have a lovely group of friends now. The only problem is I'm too busy entertaining and being entertained that I have no time to scrap. Never mind I will just have to convert them to the whole scrapbooking thing.
