Left home with an empty car

Off to Angela's I drove to have lunch with her and a friend. It was a lovely day. We had a really nice lunch and a great chat. She has a lovely house and a really sweet & beautiful 3 year old daughter called Mia.

I could only stay till 2pm as I had to collect Amy & Annabelle to go and watch James play soccer.

By the time I left Angela I had a baby seat for my car & all of these lovely toys for Annabelle.

Angela is such a giving person and so funny. I really enjoyed my day.

Oh No Wedding Invite

Yes wedding invites. This is Angela we worked together for Pink Panther over 20 years ago. We haven't seen each other since about then. She is now one of my clients from work. It's really funny how people come back into your life. She is a really lovely person. We have started hanging out together and go to lunch once a week or shopping in the city. This was Thursday night. Angela had me print wedding invites for her friend and this is her trying to help out but trimming them down. She is the funniest person and we always seem to have a good laugh. Today I'm off to Angela's for lunch so that will be nice.

What A Weekend

The weekend started as usual. Friday we went and picked up the kids. Had a bit of dinner then relaxed. I bought the ghost whisperer DVD series and Amy and I are hooked.
Saturday morning Amy and I got up early to go and get our hair and nails done. Amy's hair turned out really awesome. Then it was off to the soccer to watch James play. Kat, Wende and the rest of the gang was there so as usual it was a hoot.

Saturday night Craig and I were invited to Jay's surprise birthday party which was also a great night. Craig got on it a bit hard and finished the night with his head in the toilet. Even the dogs started howling at the sounds coming from inside. Jen & Jay have become really great and true friends the kind that you really enjoy spending time with. Loz & Shane also were there.... Loz what a girl she can really mix it up with the boys.
Sunday was the same as usual. Played 3rd division soccer which we drew 3 all. Then I had to rush over to play in 1st division as they only had 7 players. Man did we get a flogging (10-0) I feel really sorry for them they are way out of there league.

That was my weekend. As per usual really busy but loving it.

My 40th

I'm so excited I just had to share. I wasn't going to have a 40th. My sister rang me and told how sad that was and I just have to have one as Mum, Dad and Sharon are due to fly in on the 3rd of July. So that was that it's a party. All of my new friends thought I was really slack for not having a party but are now all looking forward to it. I have booked a venue, have a date, have a theme (Black & white) so now it's just a matter of sending the 80 invites. More good news. As all of my family will be here Amy & James have decided to Christen Annabelle on the weekend following my 40th so it's all happening. As you can tell I am really excited and looking forward to a great 2 weeks

Mothers Day (2008)1st Nanna's day.

I had the best mothers day ever. James, Amy, Annabelle & Jesse spent the weekend. Friday we had a lovely dinner of spag bol. Saturday Craig and James took Jesse to rugby league game which he won... yahoo. We all spent the day and Jame's soccer then came home and had another lovely dinner.



Sunday I awoke to find the most beautiful bunches of flowers from Daddy and the dogs. Negus also bought me a silver bracelet. How cute. Then Annabelle gave me this beautiful framed photo of herself and the most fluffiest dressing gown which I just love so I was really spoilt

Poppy just loves his little girl and she loves him. We are so blessed.

Enjoying the day in the sun at go karting.

Yes that's right it was mothers day and we ended up at go karting with the boys. Everyone at the track thought it was a great joke.

We had promised Jesse for his birthday that we would take him so this was the perfect time.

Look at the boys I think the older boys enjoyed it more than Jesse... How big is Jesse and only thirteen.

So it was a great day. After go karting we went to Picton for breakfast of bacon and eggs.

I am so lucky to have so many precious gifts in my life and have never been happier. The more I look back on previous times the more I appreciate what fills my life now.

Saturday @ the soccer

This was taken at the soccer on Saturday. Kat decided she would come and perch herself on me which was fine until Reece decided it looked to good a opportunity and jumped aboard. Wow squish a rooney. A great laugh though. (Thanks Lisa for the Pics)

What a weekend. Friday was great. Amy, James, Annabelle joined us for dinner at the local Panania Cafe that we have fallen in love with. Lucy, Shane & Brenda came to celebrate Brenda's retirement. Was a really fun night and the food was great as usual.

Saturday was a huge day. James played soccer at 1pm so we all headed down there for a day in the sun. Back home that night with the intention to scrap but Amy and I just had to sit and watch the soccer with the boys.

Sunday sucked.... We had to play at 11am. Only 9 girls showed up so we had to play short. We ended up losing 7-1 which really ticked me off as the other team was made up of 1st division girls playing in a 3rd division comp. The best part of the day was in the afternoon when everyone came back to mine for afternoon tea.... wow too much cake and pastries... hence pop corn for tea.

Wow what a smile

Finished yahoo. Amy and I sat up until 4am in the morning scrapping so I could finish this off and send it. It was a great night. We had LHOP playing , heaps of nibbles and great company. What more could we want.

I'm really happy with the way the whole thing turned out. It's just a matter of giving it up now. Yes you say.... just make another one. That's the thing I never end up doing it.

Mum looks really happy in this photo which is great. Been a bit worried about her. When you call her she is really quiet and with drawn. Ewwww yum this cake looks amazing.

The weekend was a blast I ended up going to see ABBA lanch at Revesby Workers with Michelle and the girls. What a blast we danced all night and had a great time. The boys didn't think it was much chop but you wouldn't expect them to get off on it. Friday we did try our new cafe in Panania. The food was great. Amy & James seemed to enjoy getting out. Bit sad this weekend as it's Mum's birthday and I'm not there but oh well not alot I can do about it. My sister and all of Mum's friends went over to a BBQ which she would of loved.

Yahoo It's Friday

Wow thank god it's Friday. Suppose I can't complain as I have just returned from a 2 hour lunch with my clients. Amy and James are coming over tonight so we are all off to dinner with Laurie and Michelle which should be nice.

Have to give my Mum a call for her birthday today.... Ah that's why I feel so glum. I hate not being with them when it's their birthday. Dad has arranged for Mum to go for a ride on a Harley. She will love that. Last year it was a chopper.

Anyway another full on weekend so I wont be posting any scrapping unfortunately.

Jimmy's birthday (10/04/2008)

Thursday night was Jimmy's birthday so he, Amy and Annabelle came over. We had to go to soccer training first but after we came home, ordered pizza and had a lovely night. We have so many lovely times now since Annabelle has arrived. Every event seems all the more special.

Like mother like daughter. Isn't this just the most precious photo of my 2 special girls.

I Love this photo of Annabelle and James. Jimmy loves Family guy so Annabelle went on eBay and got daddy this set of figures. He loved them.

Had a lovely night topped off with Cake..... yum.

James and Amy decided to stay till Saturday as James is playing soccer for the same club as me so we all decided to make a day of it on Saturday. We packed a picnic basket full of nibbles and junk and headed down for a great day with friends. Kat, Harry and the rest of the crew were there so it was a great day. Bloody hot though.... got roasted.

James had a great game. He set up the first goal and scored 2 more. They drew but it was a great game anyway. Had a quiet night. Amy and James had to go home as tomorrow is Jame's nephews christening.

Sunday was a huge day. I got up about 7am and quickly did Craig's books. Then I rushed off to indoor soccer where we had to play our semi final and then the grand final which we won both. Then off to outdoor. It was poring down. So much so that the ref nearly called it off. We ended up playing and won 1-0.... didn't deserve it as we played like crap but a wins a win. Went home and crashed out. Can't believe how the weekends fly past.

This Weekend

I am really looking forward to this weekend. Tonight is the usual. Get home from work, do the invoicing for Craig, eat take out and relax. Saturday morning Amy and Annabelle are coming over and we are going shopping for Jimmy's present as it is his birthday next week. Then we will come home and start our roast dinner. Wow I really feel like a Nana now.... off to Nana's for Sunday roast.... oK Saturday this week.

Sunday is going to be a huge day. We have indoor soccer at 10.30am then we have to rush off to outdoor and take the field by 12pm so that's going to be a rush.

After a good win I hope off to Panania Pub for tea with the girls. This has become a weekly thing now which is great as the food and company are the best.

So as you can see it's full on. In between all of this I have to prepare presents for Mum, Dad and Sharon to be sent in the post on Monday to make Mum's birthday.

Wow I'm tired just thinking about it. I should also have some creative to share after the weekend fingers crossed. So to all who read..... have a great weekend.

April to do list

OK Girls this may be wishful thinking on my part but I have decided to create a monthly list of what I want to achieve each month.

1) - Create a page or off the page project with my monthly tarisota pack. (I have 7 un opened packs) Check out this months http://www.tarisota.com.au/index.php
2) - Finish Annabelle's welcome party book.
3) - Take Easter photo's of Annabelle in her bunny ears and scrap them.
4) - Clean my craft room (maybe that should be #1 as I can't see the top of my desk)

Happy Easter

Wow what a huge weekend. Thursday Craig's Ma & Pa arrived for the weekend (Watch a blessing). Friday was just a preparation day for Craig's birthday party tomorrow. What a bummer the shops are shut. Amy arrived about lunch time and yes without my beautiful Annabelle..... Not happy Jan. Saturday morning was a mad rush to get the rest of the food shopping done for tonight. I have 30+ people coming. Pa and I put the pork and chicken in the webber about lunch time so it will be ready in time. Everything else could wait. James arrived about 2pm with Annabelle. Craig loved his clothes I bought him. He's so funny. Anyway people started arriving about 5pm. By 6.30 the place was packed and the food was flowing. It was a huge night it more ways than one. Kids everywhere.... Tell me folks what is it about people who just dump there kids and run. I spent the whole night trying to keep some form of control in the house. Live and learn I say... Next time the invite will read ADULTS ONLY. Place got trashed.

Sunday was just a lazy day. Woke up and Craig had cleaned the place up. I'm so blessed. Pa had cleaned the webber (I hate cleaning that thing) and Ma had done the washing. They are such a great help. It was lovely having them down. Annabelle, Amy & James also stayed which was lovely.

Monday Amy and James had to go to a poker day so I had my first grand baby sitting day. Tell you I surprised myself. I even managed to bath her without making her cry. I was really proud of myself. It was the most satisfying day I've had in a long time. She is so beautiful and such a great baby.

Well I'm Hoping after next weekend I will have some scrapping to share.

Another lovely weekend.

Aunty Chrissy bought Amy and Annabelle ove to spend the weekend with Nanny. We spent the day just hanging out. Aunty loves the computer games so she spent the day playing games and relaxing. Had a great lunch of sausages & salad on rolls. It was so nice just sitting together and relaxing. We hardly ever get time to spend together. She is so busy with work and running the kids around from here to there.

Here are the new photo's of our precious little angel. She is the most beautiful precious little girl. I just love her so much. The weekends we get to spend with her are something I will cherish for ever. Amy is such a good mum and I am so proud of how dedicated she is to her.

Saturday Craig & I had the pleasure of attending Craigs friends wedding. I had never been to a Greek wedding before and let me tell you I had the best time. The church service was amazing. It was held in a Greek church at Redfern. From start to finish it was an experiance. The church it self was just beautiful then came the priests in there black head gear which sang the whole service. Sonja looked absolutely beautiful in her traditional dress. Then it was off to a whalf at Darling Harbour where the food never stopped and the greek dancing was amazing. It was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding (other than my own of course). Yes I know what your going to ask??? Where are all the photo's? Well I got these two then the battery ran out. Didn't worry me too much though as I don't think I will ever forget it.

Today I was really tired. I still managed to drag myself out of bed for indoor soccer. Then back home to do some much needed house work. Well that was until some old friends of Craig and mine dropped in for a chat. We hadn't seen then in years. Big surprise was they also had a beautiful little 6mth old daughter. What a spin out how things change and how people pop in and out of your life. Hopefully now we are back in touch we will see more of them. Well that's it for this week.
