Hi all. Yes I know I have been absent for some time. This is a card I made for Craigs cousin who has just been accepted into the Army. A very proud day for the family. I used Kaiser Military papers kindly donated by my mate Jane Jones.

On the move again

Hi All,
Sorry I haven't updated my blog for so long. So much is happening in my life at the moment it's crazy. I have resigned from my position at work and have taken a new position closer to home. I will be working a lot harder but will really enjoy it I think.

My new roll is with a Design Agency as their Accounts director. This will mean I look after all sales until I can set up a team of three more people.

Other than that I have been having a ball. Jane and I worked at the craft show with Kaiser for three days and had a ball. I have been spending most weekends with my lovely daughter and grand Daughter which keeps me pretty busy.

Next month I have a week off before starting my new job which will be great. I intend to catch up on my spring cleaning, Scrap a bit, get all the girlie things done which have gotten out of control... and prepare for scrap camp.

I am so looking forward to going on the Scrapbook HQ camp this year. Angela has decided to come along which will be great. She's a lot of fun. Also we will meet a lot of new ladies oh and yes catch up on some well needed scrap time so I should have something to view when I get back.

Moose Knuckles our outdoor soccer team had our first game last night 7-0 loss which was not good... oh well had fun.

Monday - 6 aside soccer

Sunday - Indoor soccer

So yes my weeks are going to be pretty full up

I choose to be happy what do you choose. I had a bit of a situation on Friday which I normally would of really reacted badly too. Yes I think I was right but is it really worth arguing the point. It's not about swallowing your pride or bending over and taking one for the team it's about calm and most of all happiness. So what if you have to bite your tongue and say yes when really you want to say no. It's called keeping the peace.

Everything is coming into line for me again. I have my best friend back whom I love and adore and would not want to face life without. Life is hard sometimes but is also so full of beautiful gifts.

I had a great weekend after making my choice on Friday. Normally I would have stewed on it all weekend and who wins then.

Friday we had our soccer team dinner which Craig and organised at the local cafe. Had a great turn up of about 30 people.

Saturday got up early even though Amy and I stayed up all night. Popped around to Jane's while she went to the doctors. Poor thing is as sick as a dog. Her Mum and I just lay on the bed and watched cooking shows. She is so funny that lady.... I love spending time with her. Got home about 2pm and got stuck into making the christening invites which took a while but they turned out lovely.

Sunday we had a great 5-0 win over our other soccer team which is always great seeing as they call them selves Revesby A (we always flog them). Had Mac Donald's for dinner (Oops) oh well haven't had it for a while.

So yes happy days. Had my grand baby and daughter for the weekend, a win, a great night and managed to help out a mate.... who could ask for more.

Again Thanks to Angela who gave Annabelle her new wheels.... Thank Aunty Ang. Now Nanny has a pram and Mummy and Daddy wont have to lug one over every weekend.

Sad news

Today I got some really sad news about a really special man. I have known Willy for a lot of years and become to love both him and Mum Ettia as though they were my own family. Finding out that he is really battling and really not doing well breaks my heart. Over the years watching him and Ma together it made you realise how a marriage can really last forever and how strong love can really be. It must be tearing both her and Jane apart watching Willy fade away.

It really is so sad to think that this special man may not be with us for much longer. And our Jane... even though things have changed I will always admire her for the sacrifices she made to care for her Mum and Dad. She has done an amazing job.

This news really brings a realisation to me that this will in the near future be my Mum and Dad as most of you know my Mum has the early stages. The scary part for me is that I don't have my Mum here to watch over and take care of so it's a constant worry for me as Dad's not getting any younger. Maybe things will need to change as time goes by who knows. For now I just feel so sad for Ma & Jane.

All I can say to Jane & Ma is to continue to shower Willy with your special love and get as many cuddles as you can.

Rainy day in Sydney

Yes it's still raining here. I know we need the rain but would love to see a little bit of sunshine for the long weekend. My friend Katrina has been suspended from soccer for 13 weeks and this weekend was supposed to be her first weekend back. This is why we decided to play with only 8 girls last week instead of throwing the game. If we hadn't of played Katrina would of had to wait another week. It looks like now if the rain doesn't stop she still may. Fingers crossed everyone.

Looking on the bright side though Angela is staying over on the weekend and wants to scrap so it would be the perfect weekend for it. Amy is also staying over so she can get started on Annabelle's pages. So if it rains the plan is. Go to Sex In The City" then home for a night full of nibbles, great girlie movies (got 27 dressers and series 2 of the Ghost Whisperer)PJ's, Huggies and scrapping. Who could want for more.

Life Coach

Today I experienced something really special & new. My boss organised a Life coach for all of the executives in the company. I had my first session tonight. I wasn't to sure about it all as I have no idea what it involves. Well I got there and met the lovely lady who is to be my coach... We sat and talked for a while and she found out what I want to work on in all facets of my life. At the end of the session she asked me if I wanted to continue the sessions once a week and I agreed it would be a good idea. I mean it can't hurt can it. I don't know if any of you have had an opportunity like this but I think she will help me through a few hurdles in both my working life and private. What sealed the deal was a story she told me at the end of the hour about a gold Buddha. To cut a long story short she said there is a old Tibetan folk story about a village which had a golden Buddha that another village was trying to steal. They covered it in mud to keep them from it. Generations later and with only 1 person from those time still alive some children were playing near the mud covered Buddha and managed to knock a piece of mud off revelling the gold beneath amazed at this the children set about chipping away it's mud prison to reveal it's true beauty within. She said everyone has a golden Buddha inside them they just have to chip away at the mud to see its true strengths and beauty. What a spin out. I thought "life coaching", personal trainers and things like that were for yuppies with too much time and money. I think I may have been wrong. I'll let you know when I finish my six sessions.

I was offered 2 tickets to this show and have decided to give the tickets to my neice as she would absolutely love them. It's really not my thing and they would be a waste.

YAHOO...... we have gold class tickets to the Sex in the city movie next weekend thanks to Angela and friend..... it's going to be a blast. Off we go all don'd on. Can't wait...... hope it is as good as we want it to be. If not we 4 will have a great night

1 naughty outfit

I finally got my outfit for the party. Daddy got his as well. Everyone is really getting excited. The outfit looks really naughty but it is quite nice on. I bought a petty coat to go underneath. My girlfriend Alisa & her partner are coming as cops. 1 month to go..... yahoo.

This weekend is going to be really relaxing. Tonight Craig and I are just going to do the books and relax. Tomorrow I am meeting Angela for lunch and doing our Aldi shopping. I then have to go and order the balloons etc from the party shop. I found these great pirate hats to go as center pieces on the tables which will look great.

Saturday night is we are off to Panania for dinner with Kat, Harry and the crew. Should be nice

Sweet Sharon
